Bring your children to spend 1.5 hours at Salko Farm. The kids will have a guide for that time. The session includes horsemanship, herd behavior, safety, grooming, tacking, horse care in general, and a ride. If it is hot, they will hose the horse down after the ride. The cost for this experience is $150. It is a memorable event for sure. Horses are magical and enchanting. They teach humans to be present and accountable. A horse is only ever 'in the moment'. They are excellent teachers and healers.
Alternatively, we have a Farm Visit. This is one hour at the farm, booked ahead of time. No more than 2 families at any one time. These visits are $25 per adult, and $15 per child.
